Sponsored by Norman Piette, developed by the States of Guernsey Planning Service, Norman Piette and The Guernsey Society of Architects and supported by CIAT, the aim is to recognise and reward projects that fulfil the original brief, are executed to the highest standards both functionally and aesthetically, and fit into the environment in the most appropriate and harmonious way possible.

This year’s shortlisted projects were chosen from 40 strong and diverse entries.

The winners of each category will be selected from professional judges but, as part of the Guernsey Design Awards ethos is to involve the wider community, The People’s Choice Award is one award that is voted for by islanders and given to the project that gains the highest number of public votes.

The voting is now open, and to choose your favourites simply go to guernseydesignawards.com and make your selection.

The closing date for votes is 1 March 2020.

All of the winners will be announced at the Guernsey Design Awards Presentation Evening on Wednesday 27 March 2020.
