Occupational Therapy

We help children become more independent and confident through the development of their everyday activities.

Our highly-trained occupational therapists work with children on a wide range of activities of daily living. We believe the involvement of everyone who cares for your child is an important part of the occupational therapy process. We collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, pediatricians and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for your child.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY EVALUATIONS

A recent evaluation is essential prior to the initiation of treatment. Evaluations provide baseline data, establish goals and are used to track progress. During an evaluation the following areas can be assessed: self-care, fine motor coordination, strength and dexterity, sensory modulation/sensory processing, attention to task, postural stability and handwriting.

COMMON DIAGNOSES

Little Hands Pediatric Therapy treats children with a wide variety of needs including, but not limited to, sensory processing disorders, feeding disorders, fine and gross motor delays, autism, developmental delays, neurodevelopmental disorders and Down syndrome.
