CARF Accreditation Report 2019 - 2022
Strive has received its Three-Year Accreditation Report from CARF (the Commission for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) and wishes to thank all employees, funders, volunteers, contractors, and the Board of Directors for their participation and contributions.
Strive is elated to report that this accreditation was exceptional and we are pleased to see the results of further honing our programs and services since 2016 (our last accreditation). Among an extensive list of Strive's strengths, the following are some of the key highlights listed in the Accreditation Report.
"The organization is recognized for always looking for ways to provide diversity in programming based on community needs. It stays well versed and open to changing what it does based on best practice and informed decision making."
"Funding and referral sources offer strong praise for the organization and report having an excellent working relationship with Strive. They commend the organization for its responsiveness, transparency, and open communication. They appreciate that Strive is always willing to accept individuals in a very person-centered, respectful, and empowering environment."
"Strive has built and maintained a dynamic interdisciplinary team of professionals that ensure seamless coordination and access to services in an approach that is supportive, educational, and vital to the recovery and specific and complex needs of the children, caretakers, and families served."
"Strive staff members interviewed are dedicated, invested, and enthusiastic about the caretakers and families they serve, as evidenced by their positive, respectful, and proactive attitudes to seek creative alternatives and individualize treatment plans while still embracing the philosophy and values of the organization."
Assisted Independent Living (AIL's) Contractor Referral Program
The AIL Department very much appreciates the contractors who have taken the time to refer their friends, family, colleagues, and neighbours to our program.
Contractors receive a $25 bonus when they refer someone to the AIL program and they successfully apply. If the referee completes their application and a client is successfully placed in the home, a $300 bonus. For every contractor who refers someone that completes their application and successfully has a client placed in their home, we enter their name into an draw for a chance to win $1000. The more people that contractors refer, the more chances they have to win!
Below is a list of current AIL Contractors who have had their names placed into the 2019 draw for $1,000:
1. Cecilio Granale
2. Vince Ancheta
3. Kristoffer Caranoo
