Baked Boneless Pork Chops Recipe

Baked Boneless Pork Chops being served.

If you love hands-off baked dinners like I do, these Caprese Stuffed Pork Chops are for you! After a long day at work, I am not exactly thrilled to spend an hour prepping dinner. That is why this recipe from our Sharp Chef Michelle, blogger for Sunkissed Kitchen, is such a favorite of mine.

What’s not to love about a recipe that is prepared, baked, and on the dinner plate in 25 minutes? The best part is that, in my Superheated Steam Countertop Oven, there is no preheating required, and I have perfectly juicy and tender meat every time. This recipe is so tasty and delicious, you’ll want to keep this recipe on hand for weekend dinners with friends and family too.

Add some zest and time to your week with this simple baked boneless pork chop recipe that is taken up a notch by adding a caprese filling of pesto, tomatoes, and  (my favorite) mozzarella cheese too.

Ingredients:

Baked Boneless Pork Chops being prepared

  • 4 pork chops boneless, thick
  • 4 tablespoons pesto
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tomato sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Use a sharp knife to cut pork chops down the middle about 80% of the way, leaving a flap that opens for a filling. Tip: be sure to cut facing away from yourself.
  2. Drizzle pork chops lightly with olive oil, and rub with salt and spices. I would recommend using gloves for this step, as it is far less messy.
  3. Fill each pork chop with a tablespoon of pesto, a slice of mozzarella cheese, and a couple of slices of tomatoes.
  4. Add pork chops to a baking tray, and bake in the Sharp Superheated Steam Countertop Oven for 15 minutes on the Broil/Grill function at 450º F.
  5. Alternatively, preheat your Sharp European Convection Built-in Wall Oven to bake on 450º F, and bake pork chops for 20-22 minutes.
