Modii secured $500K. Modii is a Denver-based mobility platform that uses data to develop parking and traffic solutions. Last week the company secured a $500,000 grant from the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG). The grant will be used to research mobility on university campuses. [Built In Colorado]

Microchip Technology announced expansion plans. Microchip Technology will invest $880 million in a project to expand its 580,000-square-foot campus in Colorado Springs. The expansion is also estimated to create 400 new jobs over several years. Microchip Technology is a semiconductor supplier headquartered in Arizona. [Area Development]

Quantive released new AI features. Quantive uses artificial intelligence to help companies generate and execute strategic plans. Last week the company announced three new AI features for its platform Quantive Results. The features are titled Advice, Guidance and Observations.
